Mylan Launches Generic Birth Control, ADHD Pills

Mylan has announced the launch of a generic version of Actavis' Zovia in the U.S. as well as the launch of a generic version of Janssen's Concerta Tablets.

Ethynodiol Diacetate and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets are pregnancy preventatives and Methylphenidate Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets are indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Mylan says it has more than 240 ANDAs pending approval, with 41 of them being potential "first-to-file" opportunities.
