Dietary Supplements Recalled for Undeclared APIs

Sept. 16, 2015

Florida-based One Minute Miracle Inc. is recalling its male sex supplement and diet pill after the FDA found undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients in the products.

"Miracle Rock 48" was found to contain thiosildenafil, which is an analogue of sildenafil -- the active ingredient used in Viagra. "Miracle Diet 30" was found to contain undeclared phenolphthalein, an ingredient used in over-the-counter laxatives that was removed from the market because of concerns of carcinogenicity.

The company has received no reports of illness associated with these products to date.
