J&J Invests in Largest India Plant

Johnson and Johnson is setting up its largest manufacturing plant in India in Telangana, in order to be close to its southern domestic market.

Phase one of the project will involve a $66M investment and by 2016, should create 1,500 new jobs.

By 2016, the facility will have an annual capacity to manufacture just under 4 million lbs of hygiene products such as Clean & Clear facewash and babycare products.
