India's Wockhardt Hires Dr Reddy's Compliance Exec

Facing heat from US and UK regulatory authories over quality issues, Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company Wockhardt has appointed Zoher Sihorwala, former VP of global regulatory affairs at India's second-biggest drug maker, Dr Reddy's, to head its regulatory and compliance division.

Sihorwala was reportedly hired for his experience in resolving serious regulatory and compliance problems, to address issues related to several Wockhardt plants being banned from exporting to the US and UK last fall.
