Dr Reddy's Laboratories announced it has received final approval from the FDA to make a cheaper version of Roche Holding's antiviral Valcyte, increasing its stock to a record high, according to a Reuters article.
Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. said recently that the FDA had stripped the company of its tentative approval to launch the first copy of that drug due to quality issues at its manufacturing plants, the article said.
