According to a report by the Boston Consulting Group, India's biopharmaceutical manufacturers, while performing relatively well in the minds of global biopharma executives, are still viewed as lacking in innovation. In addition, the report states that India still accounts for just roughly one percent of oversees R&D investment by U.S. biopharma companies.
