Use of Charged Aerosol Detection (CAD) with HPLC for Analysis from Formulation to Packaging

Different levels of components or impurities and lot-to-lot variability in ingredients can lead to significant issues. Products formulated with solvents or excipients are capable of releasing compounds from packaging materials. HPLC with CAD provides a more complete view of the data since the CAD response has less solvent interferences and does not require the presence of chromophores for detection.
