A Bloomberg article reported that Actavis Plc is among the bidders for Omega Pharma NV. Actavis is said to be competing with Perrigo Co., Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH for Omega Pharma, sources said, asking not to be identified.
Bidders are carrying out due diligence, the article said, and final offers for the Belgian consumer health-care company are due by the beginning of November. Omega Pharma could get more than $5.1 billion for the sale, which is being run by Morgan Stanley, sources said.
