Last month's Microsoft patent infringement case ruling has brought talk of potentially sweeping changes in U.S. patent laws. Proposals would make it easier for companies charged with infringement to contest patents, and would limit damages if they lose. In favor of new approaches are IT and tech companies, with pharma and biotech favoring the status quo. This just in from Bloomberg.
