Pan Pharmaceuticals Founder Acquitted of Data Destruction Charges

Citing insufficient evidence, a jury acquitted Jim Selim, founder of Pan Pharmaceuticals in Australia, of charges that he ordered staff to delete troublesome data relating to the quality and efficacy of one of its drugs, before a plant inspection.  This case has been going on for a few years (read brief coverage on this blog from last year) and, together with product recalls, had reportedly cost the company hundreds of millions of dollars.
