The Gore STA-PURE Gasket for Sanitary Fittings is a 100% expanded PTFE (ePTFE) developmental product for sealing critical bioprocesses and enabling pure processing. The Gore STA-PURE Gasket for Sanitary Fittings:

Engineered with high-purity applications in mind, the Gore STA-PURE Sanitary Gasket is a USP Class VI and FDA-compliant material comprised of homogeneous ePTFE (no fillers, no binders). This construction helps to achieve the low particualtion/spallation and leachable/extractable profiles that are necessary for aseptic processing. The Gore STA-PURE Gasket for Sanitary Fittings can be easily integrated into an existing system. In addition, the durable construction enables the gasket to withstand repeated CIP/SIP cycles.

While in a sanitary fitting during normal processing conditions, a dimensionally unstable gasket will start to intrude into the process stream when under pressure. The gasket continues to deteriorate and intrude as heat is introduced. As the gasket structure and cells start to shear, reduced output and contaminated batches often result.

Engineered with a 100% ePTFE microstructure, the Gore STA-PURE Gasket provides dimensional stability for increased sealing reliability and long product life. Designed for the most stringent temperature and pressure requirements (up to 600°F and up to 3,000 psi), the Gore STA-PURE Gasket is designed for applications such as ultra-pure water systems, media preparation and upstream or downstream processing.

Using Gore STA-PURE Gaskets in a process also provides the benefit of lot traceability, ensuring consistency from batch to batch. Because the Gore STA-PURE Gasket can be used universally and integrated into a variety of different systems, this gasket is often selected to standardize operations, reduce inventory and improve purchasing efficiency.
