Natoli Engineering Co. recently introduced the NP–500 Series, a double-sided, heavy-duty rotary tablet press. Designed to compress tablets requiring extra fill and extended dwell time, the NP-500 Series is engineered for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. This Series is available in semi-automatic and automatic models.
Compression dwell time is extended by the larger head flat diameter that is 135% larger than standard “B” tooling and 70% larger than standard “D” tooling. With an increased die height design, the die provides 100% more fill than standard “B” die and 69% more fill than the standard “D” die.
