Meissner introduces the UltraCap H.D. (Heavy Duty) high-capacity disposable filter assembly for liquid, gas, and vent applications. The UltraCap H.D. is a completely disposable, high-flow, high-throughput filter system in a more robust housing than conventional UltraCap assemblies. Designed to process medium to large liquid batches, it is optimized for continuous and batch processing in biomanufacturing operations and for final and prefiltration in pharmaceutical applications.
UltraCap H.D. is offered with T-style sanitary flange inlet and outlet connections with filter media removal ratings from 0.04 µm to 100 µm. It is available with Stylux or Everlux PES, Sterilus or Steridyne PVDF, Ultradyne PTFE and Chemdyne polypropylene membranes, as well as Alpha polypropylene microfiber, Protec glass microfiber, and Deltamax and Deltadepth polypropylene depth media.
The robust assembly resists damage due to rough handling conditions and demanding environments. It has no sharp edges, which makes it ideal for DPS/biocontainer system integration. 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-inch length options permit fast, easy scale-up. UltraCap H.D. is available gamma-irradiated for aseptic applications.
