Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced that version 9.1 of its Thermo Scientific laboratory information management system (LIMS), SampleManager LIMS, now supports the use of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as a database option, in addition to Oracle’s database platform.
Customers choosing to use the Microsoft Server will benefit from the SQL Server’s scalable architecture, built-in analytics, familiar interface and seamless integration with Microsoft’s suite of products.
