Phoenix Contact’s new industrial wireless Ethernet radio products provide secure wireless communication and a high level of data protection. The 802.11 a/b/g industrial radios feature 802.11i/WPA2 advanced security with AES-CCMP and 802.1x.

The simple, IT-friendly embedded software allows any network PC with a web browser and proper identification the ability to configure the devices. Because the software is embedded, there is no software installation required, eliminating the learning curve. The radios support three different modes: Access Point, Client, and Bridge/Repeater – and can be used in many different applications.

The versatile line is available in both wall-mount and compact DIN-rail-mount versions and supports both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Built-in RS-232 and RS-422/485 device servers allow the integration of serial devices onto the wireless Ethernet network
