Burns Engineering has introduced its patented No Exposed Thread (N.E.T.) series of custom-designed sensors to simplify cleaning the assembly for the stringent needs of the biotechnology industry. “By removing the threads, you are able to eliminate possible contamination sites where matter typically accumulates,” commented Bill Bergquist, Engineering and Quality Manager. “These contamination sites are especially troublesome in sanitary environments where you need to clean your instruments frequently.”
