ILC Dover introduces the FlexSac, a new disposable processing technology designed to meet the needs of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers. This economical mixer integrates with a mechanical actuator to provide complete, rapid powder/liquid mixing. Its single-use, disposable mixing vessel saves manufacturers the time and expense associated with cleaning and validation.
The FlexSac Processing System incorporates a clear tubular mixing vessel with a rigid mixing septum and fill and drain ports. The translating motion of the mixing septum creates jets that serve to combine ingredients quickly and effectively, according to the company. The powder/liquid system has an open top for easy addition of powders.
