NJM/CLI introduces the CF1620-4 Cremer Quad, a new high-speed tablet counter that features 16 tracks on each of four filling heads. Compared to the 12-track Cremer Quad, the new 16-track counter increases productivity for large-count bottles by 30 to 40 percent. The new 16-track Cremer Quad fills up to 220 bottles per minute (bpm) on 100-count bottles and breaks previous speed limits for large fills, handling up to 90 bpm on 250-count bottles, 40 bpm on 500-count bottles and 20 bpm on 1000-count bottles.

The new 16-track Cremer Quad features four counting heads and a four-lane filling conveyor with a servo-driven infeed divider and a servo-driven collection device to maximize productivity within a space-saving 24-foot footprint.

The CF1620-4 Cremer Quad handles tablets, caplets and hard or soft capsules ranging in size from 2 mm up to 25 mm in diameter. The Counter accommodates a wide assortment of plastic and glass containers ranging in size from 30 cc up to 2000 cc. One operator can accomplish the most complicated changeover in less than 45 minutes with minimal change parts and no tools.

NJM/CLI can equip the Cremer Quad with optional CFR 21 part 11-compliant software. The PC-based system features a color touchscreen control panel with password-protected access. Ethernet connectivity allows the CF1620-4 to be accessed via a plant wide network or the Internet, enhancing the flexibility of the operating environment and enabling remote diagnostics.
