This manufacturer now offers ProSep-vA Ultra affinity chromatography media for the capture and purification of today’s high titer antibodies. Providing high binding capacity at high flow rates, ProSep-vA Ultra media are said to provide maximum throughput and productivity. The media were designed to optimize the same immobilization chemistry as the company’s ProSep-A High Capacity media, currently used to manufacture several licensed monoclonal therapeutic antibodies. This proven technology, applied on a controlled pore glass (CPG) base matrix with smaller pore size, offers increased surface area and higher dynamic capacity. As a result, the new media provides improved process economics and greater process design flexibility.
