Teva Pharma Says Allergan Generics Deal Delayed

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries said it now expects its $40.5 billion acquisition of Allergan to be completed by June, according to a Reuters article. Previously the deal was supposed to close by the end of the first quarter with a possible delay into April.

"Teva now anticipates that completing the acquisition could take as long as June 2016, based upon its current estimate of the timing to obtain clearance from the United States Federal Trade Commission," the company said in a statement. Read the Reuters story
