Freeman Technology to Co-Sponsor Pharma Manufacturing Course

Oct. 23, 2012

Freeman Technology and Gericke, Glatt and K-Tron will sponsor a three-day course organized by Mixing Consultants, which is designed for pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals. Featuring a new program delivered by academic experts from Rutgers University and recognized industry leaders, "Design and Implementation of Continuous Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Processes" runs in Bethesda, MD, (USA) Nov. 28-30, 2012, and in Zurich, Switzerland, Dec. 12-14, 2012.

Professor Fernando Muzzio, Director of the Engineering Research Center on Structured Organic Particulate Systems at Rutgers University leads the course. He and fellow presenters take participants through Fundamentals on Day 1, Integrated Design and Mechanical Integration on Day 2, and finish with Modeling and Control on Day 3.

Tim Freeman, Managing Director of Freeman Technology, will present a session on "Measuring and Understanding Powder Flow."

“I’ve been teaching on Mixing Consultants courses for a number of years now and they are always stimulating events that I am very pleased to be associated with,” Freeman said. “As well as the formal sessions, there is plenty of opportunity for participants to spend time with--and really learn from--the presenters and course leaders, and to tap into their considerable experience and expertise. I’m looking forward to well attended sessions and lively discussion as always.”
