News: Forest Labs Must Choose Between CEO and U.S. Govt.

Last month, the pharmaceutical company Forest Laboratories got nailed for marketing its two top-selling antidepressants for use in kids before the FDA said that they could do that. The company settled out of court for $300 million. Pretty routine stuff, happens all the time.It's what happened next that we're interested in. Forest Laboratories -- actually its CEO Howard Solomon -- got a letter from the Department of Health and Human Services. The contents of that letter have the whole health care industry all shook up.
