David Brennan Speaks On Cancer Cures Through Innovation

CEO, David Brennan, delivered a speech titled “Improving the prognosis: cancer cures through innovation” at the 2009 Medical Innovation Summit, a major industry conference run by the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic.
Brennan explained some of AstraZeneca’s recent experiences and examined what they tell us about the way forward for medical innovation, particularly in oncology.
The three themes Brennan picked out were personalisation, partnership and policy – main drivers which can bring about progress in medical science and better health outcomes for the patient.
