Celsis Selects Pharmaceutical Industry Veteran to Spearhead Regulatory Services for New and Existing Customers

Celsis International plc, a leader in rapid microbial detection solutions for industry, announced the addition of John H. Albright as the head of  regulatory affairs and compliance for Celsis Rapid Detection. Mr. Albright brings to Celsis an extensive understanding of the business requirements for today’s pharmaceutical manufacturers.
 
The appointment of Mr. Albright underscores Celsis’ continuing commitment to educate and assist customers gain regulatory approval for implementing rapid detection methods, while also expanding Celsis’ ability to work closely with regulatory agencies to further define the benefits of adopting rapid methods in the manufacture and development of pharmaceutical products.

As head of regulatory affairs and compliance, Mr. Albright will perform a critical role as the liaison to key regulatory bodies and industry associations influencing the pharmaceutical, home care, cosmetics and personal care and beverage markets served by Celsis.  As the internal regulatory and compliance expert for the company, he will also serve as a regulatory advisor and consultant to companies either using or evaluating Celsis technology to streamline their manufacturing and testing processes. 
 
Prior to joining Celsis, Mr. Albright spent thirteen years in both the Diagnostic and Pharmaceutical Operations divisions of Abbott Laboratories. While there, he served in a variety of project management positions including quality systems validation manager, product technical support and research and development. During his tenure, he drove the successful development, launch and production of global immunoassay products.
 
Mr. Albright joins Celsis as the company continues building upon its pioneering status.
