W.L. Gore Acquires Amesil

W. L. Gore & Associates has acquired Amesil, a privately held, US-based provider of non-reactive fluid transport, containment and sampling solutions to the pharmaceutical and bioprocess markets. Amesil employs 46 people and is located in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. Financial details were not disclosed.

GORE PharmBIO Products is a leading supplier of high-value technology products to the pharmaceutical industry. Gore is known for setting new standards for reliability and performance in a variety of global markets for nearly 50 years.

Through this acquisition, Gore will continue to enhance its product leadership in the biopharmaceutical category. Gore will continue to manufacture and sell Amesil products with the same high standards and outstanding commitment to service.
