BioProcessors Corp. (Woburn, Mass.), a provider of micro-engineered solutions for biopharmaceutical process development applications, announced Jan. 22 that it has appointed Jonathan Rennert as president and CEO.

“As BioProcessors continues to grow and deepen its presence at top-tier biotech and pharmaceutical customers, I am pleased to be able to transition the company’s leadership to someone of Jon’s caliber and experience,” said Dr. Andrey Zarur, BioProcessors Corp. founder and outgoing CEO. Dr. Zarur will remain on the company’s Board of Directors.

“I am pleased to join BioProcessors’ highly motivated team as we continue to establish the breakthrough benefits of our technology in downstream process and media optimization, while expanding our global customer base in other applications of cell-culture instrumentation across the life sciences industry," said Rennert.
