Eisai Inc. (Teaneck, N.J.) is installing a new building automation and security system at its new R&D center in Andover, Mass.

Developed by TAC, the installation includes an integrated airflow control system with over 500 variable air volume (VAV) and 75 fume-hood controllers. The new building will include seven direct, digitally controlled air handlers, two chillers and two cooling towers, all of which will be controlled via TAC’s Continuum platform and controlled via BACNet.

Schneider Electric, TAC’s parent, recently bought Invensys’ Building Systems division. TAC was also cited by the market research firm, Frost & Sullivan, for excellence in building automation technology.
