Packaging | Anderson Acquires Land for Future Expansion of Contract Packaging Services | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Anderson Packaging Inc is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 12 acre parcel of land for future planned expansion of its pharmaceutical contract packaging services.  The property is adjacent to Anderson’s corporate headquarters, located in Rockford, Illinois.  Anderson’s most recent manufacturing expansion, a 148,000 square foot pharmaceutical packaging facility, is also located adjacent to the property.  Plans have Anderson constructing a state-of-the-art 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility to facilitate further expansion of its growing pharmaceutical packaging business.  Anderson currently operates 7 packaging facilities in the Rockford area totaling over 900,000 square feet.  The new facility will help accommodate growth in Anderson’s existing core packaging operations including thermoformed blisters, bottles, pouches, and secondary packaging options such as carded blisters, cartons, and complex kit assemblies.
