Proud to Be a Pharma Worker

While public perceptions of the pharmaceutical industry remain low, according to the Harris Poll and other benchmark surveys, a new study by the Hay Group (Philadelphia) suggests that pharmaceutical employees are very positive about their employers and about industry workplace issues in general. Nearly 90% of respondents to the Hay Group poll said that they were proud to work for their company.

The study also found that pharmaceutical employees, in general, feel better informed by management and in tune with company strategy. Some 95% had favorable impressions about the products and services that their companies’ provide. At the other end of the spectrum, employees in the retail industry were the least enthusiastic about their companies and working conditions. Below are some of the results of the Hay study.
