IFPAC

IFPAC has issued a Call for Papers for its twentieth annual conference and exhibition, to be held February 20-23, 2006 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va.

The forum will focus on the latest developments in Process Analytical Technology (PAT). Organizers say the forum’s theme, “Living in Interesting Times,” illustrates the opportunities and challenges confronting both manufacturers and users of pharmaceutical technology. Abstracts are being solicited on a broad range of topics, including instrumentation, software, standards, and future PAT trends.

This year’s IFPAC board will be co-chaired by Chris Watts of the FDA’s CDER; the board includes Rick E. Cooley of Dionex, Steve Doherty from Eli Lilly, Gert Thurau of Merck, and Steve Hammond of Pfizer.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 19, 2005. Abstracts may be submitted electronically at www.ifpac.com.

Interphex

The deadline is rapidly approaching — Friday, July 15, 2005 — for submissions to Interphex. The annual conference will be held March 21-23, 2006 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Interphex is soliciting speakers for both presentations (roughly an hour long) and three-hour workshops. The forum will cover a wide variety of industry topics; areas for discussion include automation, regulatory/compliance issues, quality control, contamination controls, supply chain management, cleaning, delivery systems and RFID technology.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically at www.reedshows.com/INTERPHEX.

Pittcon

Pittcon 2006 is also accepting submissions. The 57th annual Pittsburgh Conference and Exhibition will be held March 12-17, 2006 in Orlando, Fla.

Abstracts are being solicited in a broad range of scientific disciplines including physical science, nanotechnology, environmental science, forensics, informatics, quality assurance, statistics, pharmaceutical science and food safety.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically at www.pittcon.org by Monday, August 1, 2005.
