Schering-Plough Names Kelly to Global IT Post

Schering-Plough Corporation announced March 2 that Christopher Kelly has been appointed vice president, Global Information Technology, Global Supply Chain/Global Quality Operations, effective immediately. He will be based in Kenilworth, N.J., and will report to Karl Salnoske, vice president and chief information officer.Kelly will provide strategic information technology (IT) leadership for supply chain and quality systems initiatives globally.
Kelly's background spans a diverse range of IT disciplines. He most recently served as partner, Business Consulting Services, with IBM, where he led the U.S. pharmaceutical industry technology strategy and management practice. Prior to IBM, he was a partner in the pharmaceutical industry practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previous experience includes serving as director of IT with St. Helens Metropolitan Borough Council (MBC), as well as IT management consultant/project account manager in the professional services division of International Computers Limited (ICL).
Kelly holds a Diploma in Management Studies from Staffordshire Polytechnic and an M.B.A. from Staffordshire University Business School in the UK.
