Merck, Abbott, Genentech Address Success with Control, MES

In the heat of Phoenix in June, hot topics at Honeywell's Users Group meeting included pushing process control to new levels and maximizing use of manufacturing execution systems.

At the recent Honeywell User’s Group (HUG) in Phoenix, experts from Merck, Abbott and Genentech shared lessons learned in key automation and control projects. Merck in Rahway has upgraded its process control system, while Abbott and Genentech are exploring the boundaries of manufacturing execution systems (MES).
